Monday evening was our first Sign A Sail event, held at the Tampa Sailing Squadron. Many signatures were collected, along with donations for Aidric. Many thanks to all there… Susan and I will be back!
Also, thank you to T. A. Mahoney Marine in Tampa, for donating two deck hatches to be used in the new watertight bulkheads I’m installing. Now we’ll have plenty of secure, dry storage (although all gear will still be in dry bags), and, in case of a wave going into the cockpit, all water will be contained in the center area of the boat, where it can easily be pumped out.
